Indian Champissage, also known as Indian Head Massage, is ayurvedic in origin and was brought to the UK by Narendra Mehta in the 1970s. The head, neck and face are massaged with the purpose of improving circulation and energy flow. It is usually carried out while seated and can be done with or without the use of oils. Champissage can be an effective stress-buster.
